Become a member via kclsu.org and await confirmation of acceptance of membership via email

02.

You will be added to our Members Only whastapp group chats by our Committee

03.

A sign up link will be released 8pm each Sunday to sign up for general training sessions at our Strand Range on the Members chat. This sign up is first come first served.

04.

Book onto an available session with a friend - we are now running group sessions in pairs so one of you can learn to shoot while the other learns how to be a Range Officer, and then you swap over!

05.

Come to the Range 5 minutes before your session start time and ring the bell ONCE ONLY, do not ring multiple times. If you are more than 10 minutes late we reserve the right to refuse entry.

House Rules - Strand Sessions

Please read these carefully. Our club is run by student volunteers and we kindly ask that you treat us with respect and kindness, and are aware of our policies and procedures as documented below.

1

Lateness

If you are 10 minutes late we reserve the right to refuse entry to the training session, it may run late and affect the next session's timings and is not fair or courteous to the other members. Whether to let you in to have a shorter session is up to the RO's discretion. If you are running late please message the Group chat ASAP to let us know. If you are more than 10 minutes late 3 times you will be prevented from booking another training session until you have paid a £5 fine. Please research travel disruptions when planning your journey to the Strand Range via the TfL and National Rail websites.

2

Late Cancellations/No Shows

If you do not show up to your booked training session and you do not tell us in advanced you will be blocked from booking onto a further session unless you pay a £5 fine. For appeals with genuine reason please contact the Club President. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice this is treated as a late/no show unless you can find another person to take up your training slot. If you cancel with less than 24h notice 3 times you will be blocked from booking further training slots until you pay a £5 fine.

3

Inappropriate Behaviour

By joining our club as a member, and booking onto our training sessions you agree to abide by our Club Rules, our Range Safety Rules, and all NRA/ NSRA/ KCLSU/ KCL policies. We have a ZERO tolerance policy for any inappropriate behaviour on and off the range. If you behave inappropriately or unsafely you will be immediately asked to leave by the Range Officer and such behaviour will be noted and reported to the Club President, KCLSU, and KCL as appropriate and may trigger disciplinary action.
