Joining Instructions

In order to apply for membership to join King's College London Rifle Club you must carefully follow these steps - our membership procedures must be compliant with both the Metropolitan Police and the Home Office's guidance so please follow these steps carefully to ensure that you have submitted your application correctly!

01

Purchase KCLSU Rifle Membership & Insurance at kclsu.org

Choose whether you would like to apply for Smallbore Only membership, or Fullbore and Smallbore membership.

Decide if you are a "student" member (i.e. a current KCL student), or qualify for "associate" membership (i.e. KCL alumni, KCL staff, or University of London member institution current student or alumni).

02

Complete our membership application online form

You must complete our accompanying membership application form on Microsoft forms which you can find here. Please complete this to the best of your ability and do not omit any answers. If a question does not apply to you, please answer "N/A".

Within our application form is a Section 21 declaration - please ensure that you read this carefully and only sign the form if this does not apply to you. It is a criminal offence to falsely sign a Section 21 declaration.

03

Forward us your KCLSU purchase receipt and Government ID

Once you complete the Microsoft application form, please forward your KCLSU Receipt and a photocopy of your official ID (Passport, Driver's License, National ID etc.) to KingsRPC@outlook.com with your King's email address if you are KCL students/staff, or your UoL email if you are a current UoL student.

Put your Full Name and Phone Number as the email subject.
Please ensure the quality of the photocopy you submitted.

What happens next?

After you have completed the above three steps, your application for membership will be received by the King's College London Rifle Club Committee and is manually processed. Please allow our committee time to review your application especially at high volume application times i.e. Welcome/Freshers Week and after Christmas. Your membership will not be accepted and you will not be allowed to shoot without completing this application form and meeting all of the requirements, so please follow these instructions carefully to avoid disappointment.

Please note that it is a requirement for us to pass on your application form answers to the Metropolitan Police for appropriate vetting and background checks prior to your admission to our club.

We reserve the right to refuse your membership application if deemed appropriate.
